Parking is the part of the brief that eats the plot. A ramp to a single basement level can consume more area than the parking it serves, and above ground it takes the frontage. A car lift buys that area back — but only if the lift itself does not simply move the problem into a machine room and a deep pit.

SERAPID Car Lift Systems need only a shallow pit and reduced headroom, and no separate machine room at all. What the lift does not occupy stays available for more profitable use.

Why not hydraulic

  • No borehole and no hydraulic fluid, so no ground contamination risk and no oil to store, monitor or dispose of
  • The load resolves into the ground rather than into the surrounding walls and ceilings

Yes. There is no limit on starts per hour and the drive generates minimal heat, so the morning and evening peaks typical of car parks are a normal duty.

Yes. Systems have been installed for private residential clients, including two-vehicle lifts and high-specification cabins. The low-cycle domestic duty is well within the technology’s capability.

900 mm under the Machinery Directive across all three standard sizes, or 1,000 mm for the CL-3.5 and CL-5.0 built to EN 81-20. The CL-2.5 is not available to EN 81.
