Training Package
Training to full autonomy. The objective of this package is specific and slightly unusual for a manufacturer: that your people no longer need us for routine operation and maintenance.
That is a deliberate position. A rigid chain lift is purely mechanical, needs minimal maintenance and is built from standard industrial components — which means a competent in-house team can look after it. What they need is to understand a drive that behaves differently from the hydraulic and traction systems they have spent their careers with.
Why rigid chain needs its own training
Most lift knowledge in an industrial maintenance team was learned on hydraulics or other alternative technologies. That experience may transfers poorly, because the failure modes it teaches you to look for largely do not exist here — there is no fluid to check, no pressure to lose, no seal to fail and no re-levelling behaviour to interpret. That’s the whole point.
The practical risk is not that someone breaks the lift. It is that a team trained on other technology applies inspection routines that tell them nothing useful, and consequently believes the lift is being maintained when it is not being looked at in the ways that matter.

Training can be delivered on site, using the installed system, or at a SERAPID facility. On-site training has the advantage of covering the actual installation — its controls, its landings, its access arrangements — which is what people will be working on. Training at a SERAPID facility allows exposure to components and failure conditions that cannot be demonstrated on a live installation.
Timing matters more than most buyers expect, and it varies by scope. At Drive Train and Elevation Package scope, training belongs at design stage, before integration decisions are locked in. At LP scope it belongs before installation. At Turnkey scope it belongs at handover, when the system is complete and the people who will run it can be trained on the thing itself.
The Training Package is not a fifth rung on the scope ladder. It attaches to any of the four scope levels, and the case for it is arguably strongest at the lowest one — a Drive Train customer is integrating an unfamiliar technology into their own machine, which is exactly the situation where knowledge gaps become design errors.
