Turnkey
Peace of mind. The Turnkey package includes everything supplied within the Lift Package, plus full installation, commissioning, testing, validation and final handover — a complete vertical transportation solution delivered by a single specialist partner.
For an industrial client, the appeal is rarely the specification. It is that there is one number to call, one programme to hold, and one organisation answerable if the lift is not working on the day it was promised.

A turnkey approach minimises project risk by creating a single point of accountability across the whole lifecycle. It is the right answer whenever the cost of the lift being late or wrong is significantly greater than the cost of the lift — which, in an operating industrial facility, it almost always is.
Single-point accountability is the product
On a multi-supplier lift project, responsibility fragments precisely where it matters most. The structure was someone else’s, the controls were a third party’s, the installation was subcontracted — and when the lift does not land level, establishing whose problem it is takes longer than fixing it would have done.
Turnkey removes that entirely. Rather than coordinating multiple suppliers and contractors, you have a fully integrated solution delivered by the team that designed the technology in the first place — which means the people commissioning it understand the drive at the level the drive requires.
Where full compliance is not possible
Turnkey is also the scope in which SERAPID’s certification experience matters most. Where a building physically cannot meet every clause of the applicable standard, we work with Notified Bodies and produce detailed design files supported by essential health and safety requirements to achieve certification. At turnkey scope that work sits with us rather than with your team — which on a heritage or constrained industrial site is frequently the reason the project proceeds at all.
The natural additions
Turnkey customers are the most likely to take both support packages, and for good reason: if you did not build the lift, you have no institutional knowledge of it. A Training Package transfers the operational knowledge; a Service & Maintenance agreement keeps it available afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Everything in the Lift Package, plus installation, commissioning, testing, validation and project handover. SERAPID manages engineering, manufacturing, integration, installation, testing, commissioning, validation and handover.
A single point of accountability. On multi-supplier projects, responsibility fragments across the structure, controls and installation, and resolving who owns a problem often takes longer than fixing it.
SERAPID — using the team that designed the technology, which matters because commissioning a rigid chain lift correctly depends on understanding how the drive behaves.
Yes, and this is where the scope earns its value. SERAPID works with Notified Bodies and produces detailed design files supported by essential health and safety requirements to achieve certification, with that work sitting on our side of the boundary.
Not by default — maintenance is a separate Service & Maintenance package, designed to attach to any scope level. Most turnkey customers take one, and it is worth agreeing at the same time as the project.
