SERAPID Announces Expansion of its Building Dynamics Sector
Sterling Heights, MI – August 22, 2015 -SERAPID, a leading supplier of lifts, quick die change and horizontal transfer systems, announces the expansion of its Building Dynamics sector.
Formerly based out of the SERAPID UK office, the Building Dynamics sector involves the design and production of motion systems for unique moving features in both commercial and residential structures. Past projects include a travelling bar on a cruise ship, a fashion catwalk that rises from the floor of a shopping mall, retractable roofs and reconfigurable sports stadiums. SERAPIDBuilding Dynamics systems can move room features or entire buildings.
Recent rebounds in the construction industry have led to the decision to expand offerings in the US. Thom Tinetti, current Senior Sales Manager for Industrial Sales will, in the next few months, be transitioning to his new position heading up the Building Dynamics sector in North America.
